Just in time for Valentine's Day, here are a few ideas to help you create for all of the men in your life!
1. Keep It Simple & Make Your Point
Imagine you are in the military. State your purpose simply and clearly. Keep it clean and minimal.
You don't need 5 layers of card stock, glitter and buttons. Girlfriends appreciate embellishments, a husband wants to know how much each doo-dad costs!
2. Color Choice
You might think men notice nothing because after living in the same house for years, he still asks you where everyday objects are kept. You might want to make a pink Valentine's Day card or give him something with pastel-colored flowers on it. After some research, I was surprised to learn that my husband actually does pay attention and remembers the cards I make him.
He likes receiving a red and black card, browns are acceptable, too.
If it is obviously a "manly" card, he knows I took the time and made is just for him instead of recycling one of the hundreds I have in my craft room!
One thing that men have in common is testosterone, which lead me to the Ransom Note card... However, with the exception of hunting, you may want the subject of your cards to be a bit lighter.
Just create something that focuses on what they like; antique cars, outdoors, humor, camping, gardening, boats, candy, baseball, dogs, trucks.
If nothing else, put a picture of you on the card and tell him to throw darts at it the next time you irritate him. This is what he was thinking anyway but now that you've said it, he will (most likely) never do it!

The truck card is so cute! I think I'm gonna try and copy it =)
